Olive Oil Tasting (mini workshop)
Elizabetta will teach you about olive oil, its health and cooking benefits, how it’s made and how to taste it. Both Elizabetta and Hans have completed a national course in olive oil tasting, and Hans in professional pruning and care of the olive trees. After the workshop, where you will blind taste different olive oils, you will be rewarded with a glass of refreshing prosecco and appetizers made with, what else? Our organic olives! Price €10 per person, min 6 participants
Hans has prepared cycling itineraries (from gentle to strenuous) for those who want to explore the area on their own. Free. We also have 2 mountain bikes you can borrow.
Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting
Join us for a fun tour of a cantina where you will learn how wine is made by the people who make it. Includes a visit to the vineyards and a tour of the cantinas with an explanation of the different steps and machines involved in the wine-making process. €15 includes the tour, wine tasting and snacks. Min 6 adults. Children Free.
Guided Hiking in the Mountains
Experience the extraordinary beauty of our local national park, the pristine Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini and other nearby mountain ranges.
We will arrange a guided hike through the stunning mountain ranges that are near us. Hikes vary from easy to difficult. Certified mountain guides that speak English.
All about Lavender (mini workshop)
In this class you will learn about lavender, its history, how and why to use it, crafts you make with it, and how to use it in cooking. During the workshop you’ll be served lavender lemonade and a snack. You will take home some lavender recipes and instructions for some crafts. €10 Min 6 participants.
Truffle Hunting (Autumn)
Join us for a unique experience hunting for truffles in the beautiful Sibillini Mountains. An expert with his special trained dog will guide you through the woods to where different types of Oak trees have been planted. Truffles are an edible fungus that grow along the roots of trees and are prized in gourmet cooking and are sold for €500-€3000/kilo. Enjoy an aperitif at a bar in a quaint mountain town, followed by a delicious meal in a rustic inn where the truffles we find are shaved over our pasta complete the outing.
