Relaxing

Agriturismo Lavanda Blu is located on a quiet hill overlooking a peaceful valley amongst vineyards, olive trees and fields of sunflowers and wheat. It's an ideal place to relax.

The Beach

Nearby are long sandy beaches, ideal for children and sunbathing as the water is shallow and the surf is usually calm. The beaches are lined with establishments where you can rent an umbrella and a lounge chair and eat lunch or get an ice cream. There are also free beaches (where there are no establishments). We have a couple of beach umbrellas for your use, and an establishment in Cupra Marittima offers discounts to our guests.

Wine Tasting

Many of the local vineyards offer wine tastings and tours. We can help you plan excursions to some of the areas best.

Sightseeing

Nearby are many points of interest such as the lovely and fascinating cities of Ascoli Piceno, Fermo and Macerata, the caves of Frasassi, ancient Roman ruins and medieval towns with lovely churches and art. You can visit local craftsmen and see how traditional crafts are made, and ports where the fishermen bring in the day's catch. There is plenty to do!

The area has many factory outlets selling clothing and shoes that are made in the area, including the outlets of many famous fashion houses. There are also local outdoor markets, antique markets and local craft stores that you can visit.

Most towns and cities have weekly or monthly outdoor markets. Here you can shop for everything from clothing to fruit in the colorful, hustle and bustle atmosphere of our local markets.

Cycling

The area is ideal for both road bikes and mountain bikes. Agriturismo Lavanda Blu is an ideal place to start a day of cycling for the experienced cyclist. The hills surrounding us are challenging and beautiful.
There are pleanty of rides that are less challanging and gentle as well.
In either case, there are plenty of charming villages to stop in along any route to have a coffee or a meal. Hans can give you an itinerary, or you can join him for a tour. Bring your bike: it's a fabulous place to ride!
We also have 2 mountain bikes you can borrow.

Hiking and Walking

The surrounding hills are covered in marked walking trails often meandering through charming villages. The Sibillini National Park is only 40 minutes away by car and offers hiking trails, both easy and hard. It's a wonderful place to have a picnic and visit the mountain villages. The park is stunning and completely unspoilt. It's a great place to visit even if you don't wish to hike. The mountain towns have charming restaurants where you can enjoy local food. If you'd like to experience places that are difficult to find, we can arrange a guided hike for you.
